This is THE place to get the best views of Lisbon. It's a trek to get there on foot, but a cab or tuk tuk can get you there. Bring your tripod and come early morning or late afternoon for best light.

Take a tram to a nearby street or get a tuk tuk or climb the narrow, paved paths to this viewpoint during the day or better still,at night. Fab !

We went here during day time as well as during the night. Both moments had their own special view over the city of Lisbon.

Lisboa is a city of 7 hills and therefore many viewpoints are excellent. This vantage point however is the best as you can see the castle, the bridge and Christo Rei. The best way to get here is by Uber, taxi or tuk tuk. We...More

Yes it is a steep walk up to the Miradouro and the road is not straight but it worth every step as you enjoy the sensational view over Lisbon. You can see over the city centre and along the river out to the sea. The...More

This viewpoint is fab and give panoramic views of the beautiful city of Lisbon. As the sun rises the sky is pink behind the buildings, and as it sets it turns the sky beautiful orange. At night there is sometimes a jazz trio playing there...More

Even though the road to Miradouro might scare you, be brave and keep walking. At the end, you'll experience one of the best panoramas from your life. Tip: to this trip at the sunset. It's simply extraordinary!

The highest location for a beautiful view of Lisbon on a sunny day. Walking up there is a bit of a challenge, but definitively worth it. Less crowdy than the other more accessible view points.

Graca & Sao Vicente
You can be thankful that most common travel guides
don't mention Graça and São Vicente that often. Part
of Lisbon's historic center and "Old Town", they feel
like independent villages in the capital's center, and
more untouched than Alfama. Amazing views, restaurants
and parks, as well as important monuments like the S.
Vicente Church and the National Pantheon, make this a
spectacular option for those looking for a more

The road to this miradouro in particular is very steep and has calçada portuguesa covering all the floor. Taxis and tuk-tuks are cheap. Might be a good option. Most tuk-tuk tours will cover this miradouro! Enjoy! Any... More

It's not that far from the P&O Ferry dock. When walking, it's about an 30-45 minutes walk. Otherwise take a tourist ticket for Tram 28.
