There is big construction going on there. Please don't do there, you wont be able to see anything. Go to miradoura da nossa senhora de monte.

In a word, WOW! What a view! Miradouro São Pedro de Alcântara (St. Pedro of Alcantara overlook) is easily accessible by Gloria Elevador-Ascensor-Funicular that has served Lisbon’s Bairro Alto since 1885, or by walking up the short but steep hill. This garden/park environment provides panoramic...More

Another great viewpoint of the city of Lisboa, with benchs to have a sit and enjoy this moment of peace and super view.

Be warned that this scenic spot is being reconverted in summer 2017. Not much to see other than building equipment. Take the tram up. The cafe there is really good with fabulous service and very reasonable prices.

Countlless american year outers slumming it drinking supermarket beer and trying to be hip. We managed to sit in some spilt beer and get wet bottoms... Nice view of the bay

We did this on our bike tour - so awesome to see the city this way. The uphill is tough but there are trams and buses or Tuk Tuks to get you up there so I'd consider that.

Take Elevador da Gloria and be prepared for a spectacular viewing point in Lisbon. You can spot Saint George Castle, you can rest on a bench or listen to the music played by locals. It's a heavenly place on Earth :)

I think this is the best viewpoint in the city, nice gardens, range of stalls selling food and drink with a shaded seating area.

Here at Miradouro Sao Pedro de Alcantera you can enjoy a view of Lisbon and get a refreshing drink of water, beer or the lemonade. I would highly recommend the lemonade. This is a nice and shady place to sit and take in the view....More

There are several cranes right over the cliff that make a ton of noise and create an obstructed view. Nonetheless, it is a lovely view of the city.
