Great views across the river

We stopped here in the evening on our way to Bairro Alto. Amazing views across the Tejo and the ponte 25 April. Worth the steep climb!

There are miradouros offering better views of the city but sunset at Santa Catarina, under the statue of Adamastor, is the best! And there's some live music almost every afternoon. And it's completely safe!!

It might not be the best view point in Lisboa, but it is an unique place. Especially for young people. For the morning, the midday, the afternoon, the evening. It is my favourite place, in order to relax and enjoy your beer (there is also a kiosk with very reasonable prices!)

Nice views of the river and bridge, but also seemed the haunt of undesirables and we didn't hang around. Many nicer places for views.

The Miradouro de Santa Catarina was under construction when we visited [this was back in 2014], so not that many people were around and it was difficult to get the very best of the views. There were live wires up high in the trees, but we carefully avoided that area and made our way down to what was accessible [we... More

This viewpoint (miradouro) attracted a lot of young people at sundown on a warn sunny February evening. Some had brought their own refreshments. Some bought drinks from the kiosk. It was buzzing, lively and popular and it's easy to understand why. The views across the Tejo and to the 24th April bridge are great.

Amazing view over the river and the other maring + the bridge. Going here with good, sunny weather can even let you sun-bathe! The proximity to bica, and bairro alto is definitely a huge plus!

This is. It best sightseeing spot in the city but the view on the "iron bridge" (25 de Abril) is quite good. The best part is the walk on the narrow and traditional streets around.

This was a real pleasant surprise; a very low key terrace area with a slightly 'herbal' atmosphere. We kept to the beer and listened to a reggae band watching the sun fade behind the bridge and the dock cranes spark into life with the night time lights and then we saw Jesus. A really nice spot.

Truly the most hip of viewing spots in Lisbon as many hipsters, hippies and youth hang out here. Great spot to have a beer and people watch. This is also a spot where you may get a contact high.. LOL.
