This curious, smoke-filled spot is not at all snobby; though, you need to press a doorbell to gain entrance. The interior feels like a faded old private club, with dim lighting and book-lined walls. There's a small bar in one corner; a kind, elderly gentleman named Albino tends bar. Smoking is allowed. There were a few solo diners there -... More

I can't rave about this place enough! What a great place that gives you a feel of old Lisbon. Old music on the radio - I felt like id entered a speakeasy and gone back in time! We arrived at 2am and got a steak, beautiful sauce, chips and a drink for €12.50 each. Barman was so friendly. Would definitely... More

The SNOB Bar is perhaps one of the best restaurants in the Iberian Peninsula! A very traditional bar-style restaurant, under the same ownership for 51 years now and the same satisfaction everytime i go. Don't be intimidated by the dark doors, they're hard to find, but I think it suits the place as it adds to that Lisbon atmosphere. Another... More

Love the decor, dim lights, dark brown and green decor makes it feel nice and old. Very discreet, steaks are divine, smoking indoors a plus for smokers. Staff were all old and cute. They didn't really speak English but were patient and understanding. Nothing too fancy but more laid back. If I could rate out of 8, I would r8... More

This place is very unusual and that's putting it mildly. If we hadn't read the reviews and seen that you have to ring the door bell to let yourself in, we may have thought twice about entering. The place was empty and the decor old, dark and slightly seedy. But one things for sure the wine and steak was amazing!... More

Headed here after reading a quirky recommendation, and found ourselves the only customers (about 9pm on a weeknight). Inside the décor is something akin to 'dogs playing cards' paintings; smoky with green felt tables and little table lights. Slightly worried but glad we stuck it out; the food was superb. A lovely steak cooked Portuguese style, and succulent beef cheeks... More

Snob has one of the best known after hours steaks in Lisbon and is one of the oldest restaurant/bar of the city. The staff is wonderful and the environment takes you back in time... must go place...

Don't be put off by the name... Snob is frankly the opposite of pretention. You will walk passed it two or three times before you notice the entrance, when you walk in you'll fell a little apprehensive due to the fading decor, but sit down, order the fillet steak with an egg on top and tuck in to one of...
