This is a standard, slightly run-down Lisbon Street. There is nothing of value for tourists. Perhaps the bars are good at night, but in the day time, it is a waste of time.

Used this Rua to get to a famous restaurant. Poorly laid & bumpy surfaces, slim and difficult to travers, almost no lghts - but great nonetheless! A taste of real Lisbon!

Great way to go from Bairro Alto up to Principe Real and lots of old architecture, shops, dining etc...it can be a short cut, a landmark street when exploring this Bairro. Always something new to see, quiet by hustle bustle at nightfall.

A busy street during nights. Full of bars, cheap drinks, good music and many people! You should go to bar name Bar 104 and order drink called "Morongoska" with some black vodka (blackberry). The best drink ever!

A tight street like all the others in Bairro Alto but on this one traffic is allowed (one-way traffic). During the day you'll find some independent shops and artist ateliers open, a nice record store, art supplies stores, old print shops, groceries and cafes, some tourists and local people walking up and down but not to much. At the evening... More
