On saturdays the square is filled with high quality products. The organic market happens every Saturday and the antique and crafts market takes places on the last Saturday of the month. The garden lies in a neighborhood with beautiful aristocratic buildings.

I love this park. We usually go on a Saturday to catch the organic farmers market & frequently on a weekend there is also an antiques, art/craft, food market also. There is always lots of atmosphere. You can sit under the lovely banyan tree, have...More

This was a highlight of our trip. The park has a market with lots of artisan stalls every day from about 9-6 and they carry many beautiful handmade designs from posters to soaps and fabulous gifts for children. On saturdays it has organic groceries until...More

Enormous trees in the center of this tranquil park with a charming old school cafe in the center. Some great views. Surrounding area is full of hip shops and restaurants.

This is an ordinary city park with benches in shade and opportunity to buy a coffee. The outstanding part is the old cedar tree in the middle of the park with branches that are supported on metal poles to keep them up.

Lots of shade and a tranquil place. Not very big so don't expect to stroll around it but it's nice to sit under the big tree and do some people watching. The lawn is very spotty so you can't sit in many spots but there...More

The park is very tranquil and quiet for a stroll on a Sunday morning. The big tree in the middle is really unusual and beautiful. You can sit at a park bench or there was somewhere you could grab some food or a drink. Not...More

A very nice spot with a large shadow area. We took the opportunity to come back for picnic. Access to the reservoir under the basin is located at the center of the garden.

After walking all the way up to Bairro Alto in some pretty warm sunshine, it was good to rest our feet and chill out in this small park right at the top. It's got some amazing trees with good shade to take a break from...More

The park, which is the central place of a lovely square opposite the botanical garden, is a charming and romantic place with beautiful trees, ideal to sit on one of the benches in deep shade and take a rest.
