This nice looking train station in the east of the city is close to the airport and is the best stop for the Parco dos Nacoles, which is worth visiting. The unusual pointed roof makes it an attraction in itself. It has all the facilities you expect of a big modern train station and is next to a huge shopping... More

This is a work by my favorite, Valencian architect, Santiago Calatrava. As all of his works do, he draws attention to the form, to the movement and to what can be achieved with metal beyond the common reason can comprehend. And this Railway/Intermodal station is no worse than the one in Reggio Emilia, or the City of Arts and Sciences... More

This train station, located just 3 stops from the airport, has a fantastic architecture. Inside you can find a mall which offers way better prices than the airport. The station is located just 4 minutes walk from Rio Tejo and 10 minutes walk from the fantastic Oceanarium of Lisbon..

Can a railway station be a tourist attraction? You bet it can! Sure, St Pancras is a marvellous old historic building that deserves all the praise it gets, but how brave is Portugal, building a railway station that is an architectural masterpiece? To really appreciate this place, you have to stand in the train shed and think how the design... More

This is a gorgeous train station. You must step out and view it from outside. Impressive architecture. The station is huge and has got a large number of shops, and a shopping mall right next to it. It's only 3 stops away from airport and is the closest to Oceanarium and a number of other museums and important buildings, which... More

It is one of the most beautiful train stations in Europe. Its design is contemporary and unique. You can't help but feel in awe standing in the midst of the huge station. The station is clean and and it is well connected to the metro.

This station is beautiful, the architecture design is very unique and fun to see in person. We found traveling via the metro and trains was easy to do from this station. Very pretty during the day and also at night time.

Perhaps this is one of the main stations in the city. It is located in the north-east of Lisbon area, providing access to the Vasco da Gama shopping center, the Vasco da Gama bridge and also the Oceanarium of Lisbon.

Estacao do Oriente has a unique and well looking design of contemporary figures. It is located in Parque das Nacoes - Park of Nations - everything here is contemporary! Th station looks well during the day time, and even better - at night with the illumination turned on. Come and see for yourself!

After visiting Lisbon for 4 days, we went to Oriente Station to catch a train north to Porto. We arrived by taxi from our hotel near Praca Marques de Pombal, and found the station to be modern, well designed and easy to navigate. We arrived in plenty of time for our train, and enjoyed a cup of coffee at a... More
