We stumbled on this market by chance because we were looking for one end of the 28 tram line in the morning. A lovely traditional style clean building and one which sells Portugese produce - meat, poultry, fish and veg - to the surrounding residential...More

If you’re looking for a less crowded, more down to earth food market in Lisbon, try this one. While you’re there try the egg yolk pastry called ovos moles.

we arrived at about 8 and it was busy and people seemed to hold on to their tables for a while. if you arrive earlier I think you would be OK. you may have to join a couple of tables together. I hope you have a good time.
