A busy covered food market also houses a large number of stalls selling a wide variety of dishes from several countries. Place your order, grab a stool (there are lots) and wait for the electronic alert to tell you that it's ready. A more relaxing...More

Visited the "Mercado de Campo de Ourique" to find a place to dine, we've been attracted by the good burgers displayed by "Carnalentejana", very good choice then. Tasted also a steak, good too.

Came here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised. It is a bit further away from touristic lisbon but well worth a visit. Great sushi, deserts, steak, gin and generally anything you could want. Mostly locals as it is off the tourist track (but shouldn‘t be!)

We were recommended this place by a local, and since we were in the neighborhood visiting the Basilica Estrela, we decided to stop by for lunch. We got here just after 11am, too late for the market but still a tad early for the food...More

This very friendly place served one of the best entrecôte I have ever had with great sauces. The serving size was very generous, the kitchen staff very friendly and obliging. The Ambience in this foodie market was amazing and on the day we visited we...More

Less touristy than the Time Out Mercado, this is also a great spot to try local specialties. There are excellent seafood options as well as meats and desserts. The neighborhood is also interesting to explore.

This is a collection of stalls offering a wide variety of food. The seafood place and traditional portuguese food were the best. We ordered a delicious salt cod salad, sweet potato fries, lemon chicken and rice, tuna with carmelized onions. Bottles of wine are also...More

It is not really a place where you will "get a table". There are many spots to eat and drink something, each with a few chairs. In the central aisle a lot of larger tables. Staying together with 10 people might be difficult... More

we arrived at about 8 and it was busy and people seemed to hold on to their tables for a while. if you arrive earlier I think you would be OK. you may have to join a couple of tables together. I hope you have a good time.
