Fun Journey to the Castle
The castle itself was interesting and quite impressive, but the best part was the walk from our hotel (Hotel Real D'Obidos) up the winding roads through Obidos and everything to see in-between.

Stunning Medieval Castle
We were going to visit Sintra but our hotel didn't work out as planned so we stayed at Obidos instead. The Castle is stunning and so well preserved. Even if you don't stay at the Castle Hotel, you are still able to wander around the whole place. The views from the castle walls…

Cool place to visit
Located at the top of the walled town with a small and nice hotel in it's center. Be sure to walk behind the castle too, as it offers some nice views as well.

Love the Castle
If you love castles, you will love Obidos. After you walk through the village, you end up at the castle. You can climb up and see the beautiful view and just take in the history and beauty this area has to offer.
