We wait in the line for 45 minutes (with a 65 year old pensionist which for us is not a prioritary option, as the prioritary options are babys pregnant disabled or ancient). Two portguese people skipped the line with a prioritary ticket and they WERENT PRIORITARY (but portuguese). When we wanted to explain that to the woman she SHOUTED AT US. One was a man of 50 years old (when my dad was 65) and the other was a woman with a 5 year old child (not a baby nor pregnant). You cannot make people for 40 minuts on an office and then let the imaginary priority portuguese people pass. It is very disrespectful towards the other people waiting The woman told us: oh this man that has just arrived has a jubile card, but my dad had that card two!!!!! But she hasnt listened to us, just shouted in a disrespectful way

Keep in mind that Porto Santo Line is absolutely refusing any request of ticket-refunds due to no-show with regard to travel restrictions because of Covid. They offer only a rebooking within 90 days. That is very bad policy, it is not customer-friendly and has nothing to do with goodwill.

Took a day trip to Porto Santo. 8am departure from Funchal and 8pm departure from Porto Santo. Easy boarding process - we arrived about 7:15am but some passengers were arriving 5 minutes before departure! The First Class Lounge was fully booked but there was ample space and lounges/bars/restaurants and deck space, Worth doing but it is a long day!

Since covid the first class has really gone down the drain. The food is awful, yet they still charge the same prices without letting you know any changes. It's nice if you don't like crowds, and a more relaxed atmosphere, but don't expect anything else.
