Be sure to save your energy for the walk down and wandering around up by the church by taking this very old (but structurally sound) funicular escalator tram. Lots of fun to do with a group.

This is a great way to get to the top. Very good value for money. You can also ride outside the car in the front fantastic.

This tram is powered by water alone and is a must at least one way, preferably on the way up the hill as it is very steep. A little scary but well worth it.
