Nice little streets and surprises after every corner. Great food can be found in and just outside the historic center.

The town is very pleasant to walk around. The old squares with all the restaurants and bars around are very nice as well.

Guimarães is a beautiful town. It’s unhurried and charming. We simply loved it. Easy to walk around, many interesting monuments and buildings to see. We went to a live performance at the CIAJG. It was quite remarkable. Also, the African collection here is well worth...More

Don’t stick to the main cities, Lisboa and Porto. Drive a bit north of Porto (45min) and enjoy a very well fit city which is also where Portugal started : “Aqui Nasceu Portugal”. The historical city had been protected and you will enjoy a lovely...More
