Igreja da Misericordia is a church located in a pedestrian area of the old town of Porto, the second main city of Portugal, after Lisbon. It is in Rua do Flores. The main facade is beautiful and the inner hall has the typical Portuguese decoration with ceramic tiles. Nice. (see

This church, on Rua Flores was not open but had an interesting exterior. It was built around the middle 1500's and received a new baroque facade in the middle of the 18th century to prevent it falling down.

This church was part of the old hospital. Simple yet elegant. The tour includes the museum which gives some history mostly of the contributors. Worth seeing.
