It was a very pleasant surprise, specially because from the outside you cannot predict the interior beauty. Salão árabe is my favourite. Too bad there was such a big lineup and wait to get inside, but still worth it.

The interiors of this magnificent building are a must for visitors to Porto. We went on a guided tour - it may be the only way to see the building which is near the old centre of town.

You can only go on a group timed visit so make sure you check out what time you can go, depending on your language. Our docent was very knowledgeable & welcomed all questions. The Arabian Hall was gorgeous!
