the building itself isn't very worth to see but the park around is awesome! I was there for the sunset and it was gorgeous!

When you first arrive at the Crystal Palace, greeted by free roaming peacocks, you see the building with the large three dimensional Porto sign, (photo op,) but then you may find that the building is actually closed. You then look around and see alot of...More

Some lovely gardens with views over looking the river. Worth a visit if you are close and have a spare couple of hours. But we went on a Saturday morning and the cafe was shut, and it was all a little dirty

First of all its very difficult to get there by foot, involving a lot of stairs. The palace is agly i would say, not worth the visit. The gardens are good but nothing worth visiting. You have better things to do in Porto, or if...More

The building is usually only open in the evening when it hosts some event, but there is plenty to see anyway: an extensive Portuguese book market in a long series of stalls and terraces of pretty gardens descending almost to river level with stunning views...More

Great park with peacocks, good for children to run around and nice view at the river. There is enough benches and shadow.

The Palace was not open we strolled around the outside. The views of the city are beautiful we had some lovely pictures taken but other than that bit boring so we didn't stay here long.

Since, you have to work your way down by Palacio de CristalI, it is a bit impractical. You can find though lots of parking space near the entrance to the garden (on top), and then you'd need to come back to the car, or park... More

As far as I know dogs are allowed on leashes as long as you clean up after them.
