Modern, new and clean metro, which connects all the city and has a line (E) which connects to the airport within 35-40 minutes. Affordable price and decent frequency. Very comfortable

I was really impressed by Porto's modern metro system. It is relatively cheap and very clean. The 'trams' themselves are very comfortable and they provide an easy way to get to the outskirts of the city and the lovely coast line

It‘s a great subway/tramway system. It‘s easy to use and affordable. I like that there is a connection from the city centre to airport. Highly reccomended.

Bought the Porto card which included travel (except for trams). Used the Metro to get to the airport and for journeys across the river and out to Serralves Museum. Very clean and efficient.

To be honest, I have no idea. Requiring payment after such long time seems steep. Would contact Metro HQ and put question to them. Good luck
