Nice beach, if not busy

Beautiful beach. Better swimming on the north end whereas the south end has more sea grass and trash.

A gorgeous beach - popular with both tourists and locals. We went in May and the beach was mostly empty, except on busy days when the cruise ships.were in. Even then, the beach didn't feel too full.

Beautiful beach! The gorgeous blue water and white sand! Simply perfect!! The restaurant on the beach "The Nest" was great too! Such an amazing place to visit! Go here! 💙

We have been to this beach twice now while on a Royal Caribbean cruise. It's one of the most beautiful beaches we've seen. There is a place to get a bite to eat and restrooms. You can rent an umbrella and 2 chairs for the day for $20. Taxis are plentiful both there and back to the ship. I think... More

Valley Church Beach is one of the better beaches in Antigua, it's not the best for snorkeling, but it's great for swimming. their are beach beds and umbrella's available for rent, also there is a bar and restaurant located nearby for dining. very beautiful beach. the water is a bit deep very sudden so be careful if you are with... The most beautiful beach and sea! We were lucky enough to visit this beach multiple times during our stay in Antigua. Most days there were less than 10 of us on the beach, making it feel like our own desert island! The water is crystal clear and The Nest beach bar serves great food and drink.

I think we were expecting more hearing how nice this beach was. It was nice, very pretty view of the ocean and surrounding area. But the sand was all broken shells so it wasn't the best to walk on.

After a relatively short taxi ride from the Cruise Pier, this is a lovely place to spend a few hours at the beach. Chairs and umbrellas are relatively inexpensive(though a bit shabby), there are changing facilities, a restaurant/bar(typical beach fare and drinks) and the crystal clear water is delightful and comfortable for swimming and water sports. It is a long... More

Not our favorite place. The food was not anything to write home about. It was typical American food with a twist of island. The prices were a little high for being beach food. However, the facility was very clean and well maintained. This beach is ok. Darkwood is where I will go back to on our next trip. Chairs are... More

Go to the quieter far end... The waves bring in beautiful shells and it is just sooooo pretty.... There were 3 of us in our party aged 40 something, 21 and 12 and we were on a private island tour. The guide warned us that when we pulled into the car park and saw the beach we would probably all... More
