We went here within another couple from a cruise Ship on our own via a van service. We asked to go to the Nest on the beach where we could rent chairs and umbrellas for $15.00 per couple. The Sand is white and the water is clear. The nest is a place where you can get drinks and a bite... More

We love this beach. Beautiful white sand, turquoise waters, calm sea, bar, restaurant and lovely views. Perfect.

This is a truly lovely beach, though a bit crowded. Occasional near cruise - bys of jet skis are a bit irritating. Water is very blue, great soft sand and fairly gradual slope is nice for wading.

We decided to visit Valley Church Beach on our latest visit to Antigua. It was an easy taxi ride from the port ($ 8 PP each way), although you can take the bus for less if you want. The beach is beautiful white sand with calm blue waters. There were loungers and umbrella's available to rent and a bar/restaurant with... More

I think this beach is a very crowdy one. Most of the tourists come with taxis from the cruise boats. Everything is noisy and eating out is with hamburgers and snacks. No sophisticated beach. But may be for young travellers and old ones...:)

Like a lot of beaches here this one is beautiful. Not my favorite but certainly the most popular. The Nest Restaurant is right there so you get food and drink and wi fi if needed. Beach chairs and umbrellas are $20. Local "merchants" can be a pest, might try to make you feel guilty for not supporting the local economy,... More

This was part of our cruise excursion with Lawrence of Antigua and our first ever experience of a Caribbean beach.....it couldn't have been better! White sand, full if exotic shells and coral to pick up, slight slope into water but the perfectly calm. Bought a coconut from the tree and drank it in the water $5. We paid $20 for... More

This was a fantastic beach on Antigua. It's about a 10-15 mi ute cab ride from the cruise port and it takes you away from where most people go to. The are people at the beach selling the use of beach chairs and umbrellas if you want them. There is also a bar and restaurant on the beach.
