Amazing! Photos do not do this place justice. You get taken back by the amount of history that is at this site. We loved it and stayed here for a while. Only downside is the guided tours booth try to rip you off (100 euros for a 1hr tour) We ignored that and did our own reading.

Without a doubt you came to Atehns to climb the Acropolis and see the Parthenon. You won't be disappointed but try to avoid it in the heat of the day.

We walked to the Acropolis on a beautiful sunny day, and it was a breathtaking experience. The walk is stunning through the old neighborhood, the views are incredible and defiantly a part of the experience. The Acropolis is definitely a must see - so powerful accurate and astounding. Don't miss it!

Visiting the Acropolis entails lots of walking , the steps and pavements are made of slippery marble surrounded by rough rocks and gravel , so you must be of a good fitness , The architecture is wonderful with amazing views over the surrounding city and countryside

It is so nice no need to sau more but make your plans according to wheather. If is so windy avoid that day if it is hot day do it early morning or late afternoon. It will be good also for taking photos there will be no strong light.

Amazing views. Such history. However, I went alone and just utilized the signs to understand what each part of the acropolis was. It was stunning though. If you go; take a guide :-)

I wante.d to see the Akropolis for many (many!) years. It was a nice walk up-hill, a lot of nice views on the surrounding, but when arriving there I was disappointed because there is not really much to see
