Such a good visit, everything we wanted from a Greek restaurant, friendly welcome, varied well priced menu, cold beers and very good quality food. The extra came from the locals creating a super atmosphere and some impromptu traditional singing. An excellent meal and atmosphere.

Nice, cozy quiet area, where mostly locals hung-out. At night all cafes, bars and taverns are open, music everywhere, very interesting grafiti paintings on the building. If you tired of tourist crowd near Acropolis and Plaka, go here

Many local craft shops here making shoes , leather goods, shops refurbishing furnitures, junk shops. Some weird restaurants. Quite different from the tourist shopping streets such as plakka. Chanced upon a good and well priced souvlaki shop τα ΜΠΙΦΤΕΚΙΑ by following a queue.

Small neighborhood off Ermou with narrow colorful streets and surprising things at almost every corner: graffiti, coffee shops, bars, sort of quaint and remote and yet very close to the bustling Monastiraki and many attractions. If you have some free time, go for it.

Look, what you see in Psiri depends on what you are looking for in an area. If you are looking for posh shops and people genteelly walking their dogs through attractive gardens, then this is not for you. This is the bric-a-brac end of Emou...More

Side-by-side neighbourhoods Psirri and Gazi provide
some of the city’s prime nightlife. The almost
claustrophobic streets of Psirri feature an
interesting blend of original small businesses with
the restaurants, cafés and bars that have recently
sprouted up. The central artery of Agion Anargiron
Street has lively places to eat or drink. Further
west, you can visit the peaceful ancient cemetery of
