This is a "must see" archaeological site, because the important history of Dimetra initiation cult. The site is easy to visit. Near the site a wide choice of cafes and restaurants. Must visit the archeological site and the city of Eleusis / Elefsina

Huge archaeological site. Countless findings in good state. Once you have read about the mysteries you can easily imagine the setup. The ancient Greeks knew where and how to build their cities and temples. The architecture is timeless. Very good museum.
