This is a great gorge walk which can easily be done in half a day but as you get further into it it requires a fair bit of scrambling so not for those wary of heights. There are fixed ropes and wooden ladders on certain parts which really help you get over the trickier bits.

I just want to say that although this is a pretty gorge it is not for the feint hearted. You have to use ropes and ladders and crawl. Not for those un fit or not strong. Tavern at entrance is disgusting. Crawling with Flies. caged parrot. Unwelcoming service. Eat before or after you get there

There has been a large rockfall and it is questionable whtether it is safe to traverse. I went as far as the Aldo's and ropes and perhaps fifty more metres before turning back as my friend was not keen. I would not recommend this to casual walkers, it is close to scrambling and the ascent is hard work. But go... More

This is a nice small one hour walk in shadow but good shoes needed. The paths are narrow at some points and you need to climb up and down. Not suitable for very small children.

Amazing walk/climb through a beautiful gorge. It is easy to find, free to enter and there is a lot of free parking available. Straight from the beginning we went down (and up also) from the main path. We walked quite a while but found nothing extremely interesting so we went back to the main road. I suggest you do the... We were on a hop on hop off bus tour and didn't realise you could actually go into the gorge, so we're glad we discovered it by accident! This is a must - there's beautiful scenery, a decent walk (a little tiring but in a good way!) and even a tiny hamlet of homes down in the gorge - amazing.... More

The walk begins relatively unchallenging, but then come the ropes and the ladders, the scrambling and climbing! The gorge is shady, so pleasant to walk in, but take water and a snack, because although not very long, it is slow going for ordinary mortals like me. One caution - we heard the odd rock fall into the gorge - next... More

To try and clear up confusion in previous posts: 1. The walk to the church is easy and to observation point also easy, but more uphill. Both extremely worthwhile. 2. The loop walk around the 2nd bridge is more tricky, attempt only if reasonably fit and comfortable with scrambling, short steep sections and easy bouldering. You WILL need shoes with... More

unlike other canyons I've visited this more luxuriant without difficulty walking. Fine access to water and easy to walk to most with a bit of experience. There may be many visitors at first, as there is a small church.

Very nice gorge! Heard this 1 is better than Zeus cave? Not sure apparently this 1 had more of a physical challenge my son was quite scared on the way down as you have to walk over rickety ladder and bridges and hold onto ropes to climbed the side of the cliff excellent day out we walked all the way...
