We wanted to buy some local olive oil to take home and this was the closest place we could find. We had a great tour and were shown 3 generations of oil production. The olive oil is pretty special too.

Good place to visit between Heraklion and rethymno just off the main highway. Also close to the Melidoni cave. The short tour is free and they explain to you how olive oil was produced in the past and currently with their modern equipment. Very good...More

Very interesting tour and very interesting people. Complete history of Olive Oil manufacturing, all the way to the current hyper modern (eco friendly way). Olive Oil tasted great and is available for sale😁
