Lots of fabulous streets and great restaurants, bars and shops. Beaches out of the city are great. Accommodation options are plentiful and the people are friendly and helpful. Hugely impressed with Cretan hospitality

A nice little old down with plenty of small shops. Is normally busy, and always kept clean. Worth a visit.

Beautifull views!! Nice city and kind people. The bus from Chania is 6.80euro. Also in the streets with shops you can find many different things and souvenirs

Fabulous old town, meandering streets full of delightful shops. No harassment to buy. Local herbs, wines, olive goods. Great places to eat and drink. Hot in the evenings

Not much to say other than a nice old town with nice restaurants. Beach is huge, also some nice bars and clubs. Can be used as base to discover south Crete beaches .

Very touristy shops. Good choice of food beware of very high prices. I enjoyed samarja on the seafront and a small place near the main gate for small greek plates. Highly tecommended by the locals

A must see town with quaint streets, fabulous restaurants and great bars/cafes and harbour. The usual gift shops are here as well if that's what you are looking for. It's more than that though.

The old narrow streets of Rethymnon are a labyrith but luckily so small that you never really get lost. You'll find everything here in a nice environment
