So glad to have visited this very special place. A truly uplifting experience. Not suitable at all for anyone who is unfit or with mobility issues because of the steps. Good cardio-vascular exercise!

This is a unique and unusual building built into a cliff face, looked after by a few monks. Your have to wear long trousers (men) and skirts (Women) but it is worth it

Highly recommend a visit, well worth the climb up. Must have appropriate dress, no shorts or bare tops. Check hours of operation. Very friendly welcoming staff who will answer any questions and provide a little insight into the history of this amazing and still lived...More
