Had to take a catamaran to the volcano. Once moored you can swim down an inlet where the water turn warm from the volcano. The volcano was fun but be aware it smells of sulphur and the water will stain your bathing suit red from...More

Hike to the top takes about 40mins and the view up there of the different islands is fantastic. You can also see the warm volcanic sulphur at the top.

The best way to get to the heart of the volcano is by boat, I would recommend a private boat (otherwise to crowded to enjoy) trip from ‘Bligada’ port, bud of course depends on your budget!

Our visit to the volcano was with Kamari tours - our guide was fantastic. We had a great tour around this unbelievable site.

The volcano consists from two islands. “New kameni” and “old kameni”. The interesting thing about the trip in the volcano is that in the first glance there aren’t much things to see. But there is a great opportunity to think all the history, the violent...More

If you have a few hours to spend it's worth a look but it's made out to be more than it is. The boats more about 50/100m from the volcanic spas so you have to swim and then have about 15 minutes there to bathe...More

If you enjoy a long hike, can stand the heat, have good sneakers, do not have knee issues and love taking photos then you will love it. I must say it not an easy location to access but the scenery and the views are more...More

This volcano does not look like what I thought a volcano would look like, and it is not very active, so you should lower your expectations. If you are lucky, you might smell some sulphur. We did also see a 1m x 2m white area...More

I agree with kcarters. It's not an easy climb at times and the footing is always unstable, so I'd advise that you leave it for another visit. The view is amazing but not worth the danger for you
