We always swim in the sea when we stay at the Kordistos Hotel, great beach to walk along either way, left to the ruins, right to the harbour.

a decent beach with the right mix of sand and stone so that it is good to walk on but still has crystal clear water. water gets to about 2 metres deep fairly rapidly

Very picturesque. Calm, clear water great for swimming. Lots of fish so also good for those who snorkel. Would suit families but beware the beach does dip sharply as you walk into the sea. Shingle beach but there are sandier parts for the kids

Lovely beach , there is a calmness, Kamari beach is certainly worth a visit, very good for beach soccer; the choppy water makes it great place.

it is a nice beach with a small island in swimming distance - go there and ring the bell :) not the most beautiful beach around but definitely worth going there. watching the the sun rise at the ruins at the end of the beach in the morning is amazing and in savvas taverna you get delicous food.
