I have visited over 25 Greek islands and I can confidently say that Myrtos is the best beach. White sandy beach, crystal clear blue water, stunning natural environment, all set far away from the road, the noise, the chaos of contemporary life. Myrtos is reason...More

This was a fabulous beach, with an authentic feel and gorgeous pale sand. The sea was warm and great to swim in, but there is a need for shoes, as the shoreline is full of pebbles. However, it was difficult to park, so I would...More

The beach itself is pretty, but it's terribly crowded. It would be a great beach if there was less people there.. A LOT less.

Nice view from the hill...BUT: is a pebbles beach (take shoes!!), gets VERY crowded (and parking gets impossible), has many cold water submarine springs. Reccomended for one visit only (get there quite early in the morning...)

Large pebbly beach without sun beads or umbrellas. The waves were fairly big (however it was quite windy). Warm and clear water. Handy shower and changing huts. Cafe on beach. Very famous Kefalonian beach, wouldn't miss.

Plenty of parking places on the roads to Myrtos Beach. Stunning views and the Blue colours of the sea are amazing. The drive around the mountains are not for the faint hearted though, but well worth it.

What a beautiful peeble beach. There is no shade, unless you go in the cave, so you may want to bring an umbrella and chairs. Also pack food and drinks because there is not beach bar. We enjoyed it and the kids like swimming in...More

The view from the top is absolutely breathaking, but the beach itself is i think overrated. It is a pebblebeach, it has no natural shade, there is no taverne or anything. But the sea is nice, although not different then on other parts of the...More
