Beautiful modern museum containing many items relating to the history of the region - paintings, old coins and many architectural pieces. All items are impressively displayed and being here with a group, the benefit of a guided tour made the experience even better!

We just loved learning about Byzantine Culture. My young son was thrilled every time he saw jewelry and coins. We all were amazed by the mosaics and finery. Definitely a must-do in Thessaloniki.
