Very nice place to visit, as it's very well preserved although it's from roman times, some of the inner murals are preserved as well.

This is the remains of once upon a time a great castle, a gate from east to west. With allot of legends and tales about it, this is a fairy tale story.

This ancient rotunda is jaw droppingly beautiful with remnants of turquoise and gold mosaics around the ceilings. The light is wonderful and classical music is playing. Go now if you are a UK pensioner as your ticket will be only 1 euro! The full price is only 2 euros and it must be the best value for money visit in... More

Originate as a roman temple, converted to an orthodox church during Τheodosius byzantine emperor, degenerated to an otoman mosque during the dark ages of Thessaloniky. It is now a leaving evidenvce of Thessaloniki's historical path through ages. You can just stay speachless considering the turns and depth of history at this city.

Despite looking like a valuable in someone's sightseeing list, there's nothing special or noteworthy happening here. The building is in a neglected condition and offers nothing but a view of a simple and old monument.

The location of rotonda is next to the Arch of Galerius, this monument is indeed beautiful. We visited on Monday and is closing day. However we still can admire the exterior of these massive building. Why is called rotonda? because of its round from. There is a 2€ entrance fee, I heard it worth the price to see inside
