The facilities are comfortable, but it is not the best water, not the nicest location. It is very close to Hydra town, and can be reached by walking or by short 6 euro boat ride. Bathroom and showers are available, as are coffee and food,...More

A laid-back and lovely beach, situated in a cove. The water is generally calm and warm. You are well shaded on this beach, which is quite pebbley. There is a lovely taverna by the beach.

Expected more than this - all the beachfront buildings had been emptied if their fittings etc - all this was piled up on the pebbly beach. Would anchor off here if in a boat but not worth the bother or 20 min walk from Hydra.

This beach is gorgeous! Not far from town, quiet and charming. Water is crystal clear. Highly recommend a swim here.

This is a very nice little beach in front of the Mandhraki 1800 Taverna. It is pebbly so rubber shoes required for swimming, but this applies throughout Hydra. The taverna supply sun beds and umbrellas on the beach at no cost to their customers, which...More

Apart from being a safe beach for children and having a good tavern, the beach looks a bit abandoned. If you stay in Hydra only for a few days, you shouldn't take the time to visit it, even though it is very close to the...More

Once a place to be, now an abandonded hotel, a hardly called beach, a no reason to go! Hydra offers many other alternatives to swim !
