Brandts is Denmarks first museum for art and visual culture. Here we present more than 10 exhibitions a year with new and classic art side by side with the popular images of the present. With a collection of more than 15.000 classic artworks, international photography, film and drawings you can experience some of the worlds best artists, photographers on our to beautiful adresses right in the centre of Odense. In our changing exhibitions you can explore the new visual culture that influences our lives today. At Brandts there is always somthing for the children and playfull souls of all ages in our creative workshop Spektaklet. Objects and storytelling will relate to the current major exhibitions, encouraging the whole family to work further with the theme in a fun and creative way. This is a beautiful museum. It's different to what you are used to and i love coming here. Because there is always something new happening and showing. So it's definitely a place you have to visit.

If you have days in Odense, you should definitely stop by the Brandts museum. Great with kids and without, we've been with the kids (age 4 and 1) a few times and it never disappoints. Make sure you check their website for what expo is...More

I came here on a short day trip to Odense, and found the museum to be fairly interesting. It is not comparable to Louisiana of course, but it has some uniquely Danish exhibits which are quite interesting.
