Embark on a royal tour of Scandinavian castles, a cathedral, and the Viking Ship Museum without planning transport or an itinerary. Leave everything to you your guide, allowing you to travel in comfort across the pretty Danish countryside. Ideal for visitors interested in Danish history, this tour provides a great overview of the country’s past from the Viking era through the Renaissance.

This is a pretty busy but fun place to walk around. There are lots of nice, little cafes and restaurants here too but this is a pricy area even for Copenhagen. If it is a sunny day getting some photos here is a must. It is fun to see the wooden ships tied up to the end of the canal and do some people watching while sitting at a cafe.

Went around Christmas time last year and the complete area was amazingly full with people from across the world. Colors, Lights and Christmas celebrations/decorations were all around. Enjoyed the pan cakes, pastries and other food stalls put around.. Not sure these are all around the year or just come in this time

This iconic area doesn’t have much to do other than take a very picturesque walk along and stop for a beer or snack on the way through to somewhere else. We came here everyday - it’s like the Eiffel Tower of Copenhagen!
