This museum is first class and its Free! They give you an audio guide when you arrive and recommendations on where to start. It is a big museum, very interesting, very modern in showcasing exhibits. There are also lockers and small gift shop.

The Islamic collection is fascinating with information provided in English on tablets which you click against the display cabinets. The facts are well presented and, for me, just the right amount. We could have spent all day but so much else to see. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it and feel I have learned quite... More

Leave Rosenborg Garden at far end away from the castle in the middle and the David Collection is across the road on the right on Kronprinsessegade. Lockers are past the ticket office and require DKR10 coin. There are two floors of Islamic art. The collection is extensive and you are provided with a tablet that you hold over a circle... More

I just go to look at all the aesthetic things, this collection is very beautiful, and there is a lot to see. Every floor has a different theme some look like old beautiful livingrooms with antique furniture and the most interesting part is the collection of islamic art and jewelry

Very interesting free private museum centrally placed, but not that easy to find. Great for Islamic arts.

Nice since it was free and I liked the fact that you could get all the information easily in English on your little tablet. If one's interested in art and different cultures I do recommend the collection.

I wasn't aware of this collection until my sister wished to visit. The collection is full of fantastic ornate treasures. The collection is displayed in a collection of rooms with glass, textiles, jewellery and tiles on display. We spent a great amount of time deciding upon our favourite jewellery piece! A hidden gem but definitely worth a visit!

A friend of mine suggested we should go visit this place. Being a local Copenhagener I had never heard of the place which was a very pleasent surprise.
