Go there before crowds, I mean it. As soon as it opens go there, otherwise it's way too crowded. Very nice view and the climb isn't too bad for average person. Stairway is narrow and steep. If you are a bit claustrophobic, don't go there!...More

This is not a mere tourist attraction; it is a spiritual place. Go only if you wish to experience the sublime as you reverently take in one of the most beautiful churches in all the Nordic nations.

This one is not for those who are afraid of heights as you are on the last leg of this climb on the outside in a narrow staircase. Great views though - worth the climb

If you get the chance to stop here. Climb the tower to see the awesome views of Copenhagen for a small price

This church is so beautiful to look at from the outside and exciting to climb. It starts off as a normal walk up steps, but then it does get a little more challenging. We went on a cold, but clear, November afternoon and there were...More

This is an impressive baroque church which is surprisingly unadorned- white walls with large plain glass windows. The organ is huge and supported by two elephants!

From the strand hotel we could see the top of the church and the one day we crossed the river and visited the church really worth the while interesting design the tower.

We visited this delightful church and were fortunate to hear the large organ being played. It was incredible. The inside of this church is incredible with stunning features and yet a serenity which encourages quiet reflection. A most amazing place of worship to visit.

We got here just as the tower was about to close so were lucky enough to go up with very few other people. I am terrified of heights but egged on by my wife and our friends I decided to give it a go !...More

Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By,
you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old
brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century,
and canals which are home to many boats and ships,
some of which has been turned into restaurants or even
serve as fully furnished homes. The best known
attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free
town” of residents who squat on a former military

Sorry, I check to see if they have web-site, I can imagine how beautiful to hear their organ. We heard just a little of it.

Sorry don't know - I would contact the Church directly or perhaps the concierge at the hotel at which you are planning to stay.

There is no admission charge to enter the church, only if you want to go to the tower. Tower admission is a couple Kroner.
