I have been to both and I can assure you the view form here is way more spectacular. It's a challenge to reach the top thought because the stairway is narrow and only fit one person, you will have to give way to people coming down as you go up

The hike to the top is what you would expect in an old church, and similar to many other old church towers I have climbed. Often steep and narrow, you have to squeeze by others going the other direction, at times. When you pop outside, at the top, be sure to go left, not right, or you may get stuck... More

If you are walking back from Christiana the spire will dominate the skyline. The interior was spectacular and reflected the grandeur and reverence of past generations.

There are a decent amount of stairs, many of are quite tricky. Not as much as some of the other buildings, but it's worth just to to go up the spiral.

Great view from the top of the outside stairs to the top of the spire but only room for one person at a time at the top. It you have difficulty climbing stairs, this is not for you. Great for people who like high places and climbing up to them. Enjoy!

250 are wooden steps inside and 160 are outside. Easier to get up than others but keep in mind that some of the steps inside are VERY STEEP so dress appropriately. Great photo op but hold on tight to your camera!

We had a blast climbing up the steep narrow stairs of the steeple. You then go outside the steeple and continue around the outside on stairs till you reach the top. NOT for the faint of heart.

Not an easy walk up (400 steps) but well worth it for 360 degree views over the city. Admission fee DEK40 good value for a beautiful church and outstanding views

400+ steps around this treasure, and you arrive on the last few only wide enough for one. with a 360 degree vies of Copenhagen. At one point I had to almost squeeze through a hatchway onto the exterior Staircase. I'm over 200 lbs. and made it no sweat, but a three hundred pounder may have issues. But with a few... More

It was easy to reach, great view from the top! It is steep at the end, but still easy for everyone to reach.

Staying in Christianshavn

Neighbourhood Profile
Christianshavn
Just across one of the many bridges from Indre By, you’ll find Christianshavn. An eclectic area with old brick lanes, houses dating back to the 16th century, and canals which are home to many boats and ships, some of which has been turned into restaurants or even serve as fully furnished homes. The best known attraction in Chistianshavn is Christiania, a “free town” of residents who squat on a former military area. However just a stone’s throw away from Christiania, you’ll find some of the most fashionable waterfront apartment buildings in Copenhagen as well as the splendid Royal Opera House.
