This is an excellent market for shopping or a great place to grab lunch. Everything we had was great each time we visited. We ate here on two occasions and bought produce and other items (cod cakes, pork rillettes, craft beers and wines to name a few things) to take back to our flat for later. Excellent fresh produce as... More

A real revelation. The Borough Market of Copenhagen. The food is great and the people are delighted to help and offer free samples, should you feel the need. Laura's definitely offer the best cinnamon snagle (look it up) and the coconut pyramids weren't far behind.

Place is like a market which sells fresh produce, from meat to seafood to greens, and then there's the food segment. We tried local Danish smørrebrød here, the plating of the food in one of the stall's display had drawn our attention to it. And yes, it doesn't just look good, it taste good too! It can be a bit... This is the quieter and more established food market in Copenhagen, albeit smaller and with fewer options. The duck sandwich from Ma Poule is great, as is the coffee at The Coffee Collective. The botanical gardens nearby are a good choice for a walk afterwards.

This is a nice place to stop for lunch and a look round. There are 2 indoor markets next to each other, each have stalls selling local beer, wine, cakes, sweets, arts and crafts. There are also lots of spots to try Danish food and have a coffee and cake.

Torvehallerne offers a limited, but high quality variety. While a quick lunch may come reasonably priced, meat and fish are quite expensive.

We visited at lunch time. The variety of food and service subperb. Nice tables at which to eat. Even though it was raining and no one could sit outside tables were easily available. Meat, seafood, cheese, liquor, and even excellent knives.

I preferred this market to Copenhagen Street Food but imagine both can be enjoyed together. The two buildings (seemingly meat and veggie) offered tight sets of eateries - the porridge is popular whilst anything cooked can be slow. But the quality is great and it all feels (and importantly smells) complimentary - this is subtlety not overpowering. Being close to... More

A must see&do while in Copenhagen. Situated at Nørreport Torvehallerne offers a food heaven for every taste and flavour. Beautiful market with a great atmosphere and nice food. A bit pricy but remember to take in consideration this is really high quality and top ingredients from start to end! Definately worth a visit to see, enjoy and experience!
