Lovely park next to Torvehallerne market

Nice city park and it's right next to Torvehallerne market so if you want a break from looking around the shops then this is an ideal spot!!

During my stay in Copenhagen I visited the park on a sunny Sunday morning. Quite idyllic. Now I am aware that the park does have a rather frayed reputation, but I saw nothing suspicious and can only assume the time of day is crucial. Nearby Israels plads well worth a visit. The fountains overflowing water cascades down into the park's... More

If you have the opportunity to stroll through Orstedparken, I highly, highly recommend it. It is a beautiful, lush park where you'll see lakes, fountains, bridges, gardens, statues, locals jogging, children playing, and tourists (like me) snapping photos incessantly. It is like the Central Park of Copenhagen but much more nature focused. Less crowded, less commercial, just a nice little... More

This park is pleasant enough lake, mannicured grass, trees, paths... Not to belittle it but the usual park esq stuff. However it has a fantastic children's play area that is well worth checking out if you are looking to entertain your kids for an afternoon. The play area has 3 areas: - Sand with climbing frames, slides etc... And an... More

As we were staying close to the park, we walked through here every day after a day of sight seeing on our way 'home'. It was always clean, beautifully maintained, and as it was summer, enjoyed some great flowers and wonderful trees and shrubbery. It was extremely pleasant and the few other people here were all relaxing, walking (often with... More

Not a "destination" itself but a very pleasant place to take a nice walk and enjoy some lovely scenery amidst a bustling city. Lots of well kept flower beds with popping color. Nice bridges and trees and water views. Many items labeled for the non horticulturalist ☺️

Nice park, stumbled upon it walking back to my hotel from Tivoli, which I don't recommend visiting by the way, and hung out in the park for a few minutes, it's quite large. There was a homeless man sitting near the gate, not bugging anyone, don't be scared. I didn't stay long. The only thing I find odd is why... More

This is a pretty gem in Norrebro/Osterbro with small lakes and nice pathways. It's great for a picnic on a sunny day, if you need to put in run or simply a romantic walk. BTW: While the park is known for catering to the gay community at night - it's 100% safe.
