The university building for the Copenhagen University certainly is full of history in itself and what a better way to absorb the history. The entry to the building is fascinating and worthy of a visit.

the center of the university area, including at least one old church, is quaint and pretty, although the main building is an unpleasing neoclassical structure, though a bit more pleasant on the inside. the old library is unfortunately hard to visit (very brief hours on limited days), which is a shame, since university library reading rooms, indeed library reading rooms... I was invited by my Danish friend and her niece to the niece's graduation and it was nice, lots of students from all around the world.

This is the original University building with the city centre and was exactly what I'd hoped to see when I was in Scandinavia. Although the the man university campus is situated away from here, I believe it still contains the law faculty. Situated in a nice cobbled area with many restaurants and bars nearby.

This building was beautiful, great architecture. Surrounded by cobblestone and busts all around, a beautiful area of the city.

If you enjoy seeing beautifully-crafted busts of the pioneers from Europe, take a walk through campus before dawn. It is very romantic.

This lovely building is only part of the current campus of the university, which is located on Amager island. Still, the neo-classical building is a beautiful 19th century building in central Copenhagen.

It's a university. Unless you're enrolled, I don't see the point of going here. It is distributed in multiple campuses around Copenhagen.

Neighbourhood Profile
Indre By (Inner City)
This is the heart of old town Copenhagen, with its blend of charming old buildings and bold new architecture, broad avenues and tiny streets as well as picturesque canals and a modern harbor. The inner city is home to the Royal Danish Theatre, which consists of three buildings, two of which are new and situated on the harbor front. The streets, squares and venues of the inner city and its surrounding neighborhoods, are alive all year round with everything from jazz festivals to outdoor ice skating rinks and parachuting at the lakes right in the center of the city. This compact area boasts beautiful old castles, tranquil parks, and bustling squares where you can always find a bench to stretch out your legs whenever you need a break.
