Small but packed with exhibits museum

It is a nice place to spend time with transport lovers and children alike. There are few interactive activities as well to get people engaged. Great for school trips too.

The Technical Museum of Denmark is situated in Elsinore, 45 minutes by train from Copenhagen. The museum has collected a lot of the technical story of Denmark, - the story of television in Denmark, - the story of the Danish Flight Industry and a lot of other exiting things that was invented in Denmark. If you are interested in model... More

The museum is really nice for those who are interested in technology. You can find anything from kitchen equipment to airplanes there! Quite a collection! Lots of information too. Some activities for families with children. Entrance 80DKK for adults. It takes a couple of hours to see everything there. There is a cafe and some food too. Good impression on... More

Very interesting museum which we found opposite out accommodation. A good couple of hours spent wandering around with some surprises around corners

A great collection of machines, including cars, trains, bus, fire trucks, flights and even a complete SAS airline! A fun way to recap history. Definitely worth the trip.

Very nice museum with some very nice exhibits. Museum is mainly focusing on aviation, danish automotive history and trains, but also other aspects of technology are present. Staff is very friendly and welcoming. Certainly worth a visit when you are in the area.

The artifacts of this museum are nice, but really need some more money to show them properly Most of the descriptions are in Danish only, which for a non DK people hard to read.

This is as far from the modern, designed, curated museum as you can get. The building looks pretty drab, I assume it is an old factory of some description. Most of the exhibition is not heated and really cold in winter, and the exhibition is mostly lots of stuff that is just placed there. There is a heated section, but... More

First its very cheap entrance and the sights are fantastic for children and tech nerds, a whole Caravelle and a lot of cars and airplanes.

Don't be discouraged by the view of this museum from the outside, inside everything is well presented and lovingly cared for. Tremendous to see large aircraft exhibits inside and under cover, with a number of aircraft open for children to walk through or sit in. Very interesting to see the different historic types operated by the Danes. Had a wonderful... More
