When you visit the castle in Helsingor be sure to walk the town and visit the shops. These are nice happy people with good food and pleasant surroundings.

This is a beautiful place to visit and has many interesting places to see. Too many to list however if you are able to see a boat named "Viking" at port, it offers a mini tour of harbor and surrounding area. A very reasonable price...More

While the other half was at the conference, I went for a casual walk to see the town. So picturesque, restaurants and bars scattered all over.

In tve winter not much is going on here. However I can totally recommend a walk (or run) in this area, along the water front. It’s relaxing and sometimes very windy :) The walk will take you from the station to the castle and back...More

The vibrantly colored houses and cobblestone streets take you back into a time when life was much simpler. It also provides a chance for some excellent photo op's. The half day trip to Helsingor Havn and the Castle are a great take.

It's a lovely place to take a stroll with a beautiful view. I visited in February, so there were hardly any people. Might get crowded in summer.

Is almost always nice and when summer its so crowded, now i was there in December and the weather was not nice, Its more like a place for ferries than a harbour i would say

There appeared to be a lot of ferry traffic around the harbour, not sure where they were going. Google ferries from ------ to ------ and you will get lots of info, good luck.

Yes, it's a very straightforward journey and Helsingor is the end of the line so you can't miss it. Try to pick up a timetable for the return journey in Copenhagen as Helsingor station isn't very user-friendly.
