In tve winter not much is going on here. However I can totally recommend a walk (or run) in this area, along the water front. It’s relaxing and sometimes very windy :) The walk will take you from the station to the castle and back...More

The vibrantly colored houses and cobblestone streets take you back into a time when life was much simpler. It also provides a chance for some excellent photo op's. The half day trip to Helsingor Havn and the Castle are a great take.

It's a lovely place to take a stroll with a beautiful view. I visited in February, so there were hardly any people. Might get crowded in summer.

The harbour (Havn) is the connection between the train station, Maritine Museum, Kronborg Castle, 'HAN' and the city center with shop and restaurants. Nothing much is happening there, but in the summertime there might be small art exhibitions. There is a nice view of the...More

The brooding atmosphere is magical, as is the sense of history permeating every nook and cranny of this glorious structure. The Swedes may have sacked it, but they couldn't strip it of its character.

Dont't go there after 2.p.m. in the weekend as the city will appear as if it has been swept by the plague. You won't meet a soul and all cafés will be closing. Quite disappointing for one of Danmarks biggest 'towns'. A strong wind blows...More

Today it has been replaced by tourists from far and away, Swedes who come for drinks and fun, long-haul tourists who visit the major attractions.Competition is tough and the many advertising signs that mispower the pedestrian street are a sign of this.

If you visit Helsingør, you have to take a walk around the harbor. It's all so cozy! You'll get to see fishermen selling their catch, enjoy some delicious food and marvel at the landscape.

There appeared to be a lot of ferry traffic around the harbour, not sure where they were going. Google ferries from ------ to ------ and you will get lots of info, good luck.

Yes, it's a very straightforward journey and Helsingor is the end of the line so you can't miss it. Try to pick up a timetable for the return journey in Copenhagen as Helsingor station isn't very user-friendly.
