Despite the staff turnover at this local landmark the service is normally efficient and friendly. On occasions the place is a bit cold and smelly. The food is basic hearty pub grub.

I loved the vegetarian option . A pumpkin based quinoa salad with feta . It was fabulous . The service impeccable and a great vibe at this classic historic Melb pub .

The front room of The Peacock is a strange mix of casual dining and restaurant tables with service. It doesn't seem to come together as the atmosphere is subdued and the layout sparse not creating warmth. The menu is fine with a mix of meal...More
