Now that I can compare the two places, I prefer slieve league to the cliffs of moher. It is stunning. It's worth a trip to county Donegal just to see this amazing coastline. We saw it from both the water and the top of the cliffs. You can drive right up to the top and there is a car park... More

It's a very long trek from the bottom car park & no signage indication that you can open the gate & drive up. However the views are stunning on a fine day. We had a mix with the top of the cliffs shrouded in cloud. The walk back down felt easier & it does give you the chance to experience... More

We were here on a chilly day in July.It was a bit foggy which made it very mystical. As we climbed and the fog lifted the views were amazing. These cliffs were unbelievable. They are much larger than Cliffs of Mohr. There was a little wagon selling woolen wears. The gentleman was charming. The scarves were very helpful!

What an amazing place! It was extremely windy when we were there but the views were stunning! It was busy but there was plenty of space for everyone. We parked in the first car park at the bottom of the hill and walked up. Some people drove but you miss so much by doing that. Would recommend you pay a... More

Nice drive up to the cliffs. You can turn off about 10 kms before to take the road to the trail. There is a stock gate at the first parking lot that you must open and close to get to the second lot if you drive. It is a bit of a walk to the next lot, which is right... More

We had already been to the Cliffs of Moher on a previous visit to Ireland and we were a bit disappointed by the commercialism of the place. Slieve League cliffs is not only far higher than the Cliffs of Moher, it is also far less commercialised. Yes, there were about 30 tourist's cars, coaches and bikes but you never felt... More

I went to this place on my own by car and left the car at the first parking area (the one at the house with the toilets) which was a good idea because the street gets very narrow then. I walked about half an hour up to the top parking area; fantastic view over the ocean. It was a nice... More
