This has to be the most beautiful place. The height of the cliffs, the views, the colour of the sea. Everything is just amazing. You can park car in car park and be adventurous and walk up or you can drive up to the top....More

Awe inspiring cliffs! But as with all things awesome, they should not be rushed and ticked off the "to-see" check list. If one is half-fit, park at the parking lot with the locked gate. One can open the gate (it's an animal gate) and drive...More

Fantastic views, gorgeous cliffs, especially if you wander a bit off the path and away from the other tourists.

Definitely worth a visit to see what are reputedly the highest sea cliffs in Europe. From the 1st [lower car park] its about a 15min to the actual cliffs themselves. Its a nice walk looking out over the ocean but if you are not feeling...More

We thought this was such a beautiful place to see. Beautiful , no crowds, and a wonderful hiking trail. Well worth the visit!

After reading about this attraction, we had to see it. Unfortunately my husband didn't listen when I told him to open the gate near the first car park and drive through. So we started to walk up the hill, and walked, and walked, etc. About...More

If you have to make a choice, skip the Cliffs of Moher and go to Slieve League. Although both are impressive, Sleeve League is much less crowded, less "staged" for tourists, and makes for a far more dramatic approach. You can stop in the lower...More

We enjoyed Slieve League more than the Cliffs of Moher... parking and entry is Free! Very little walking involved as well which is a bonus for those who can't do distances. The crowds are small and the views spectacular.

Absolutely beautiful sights can walk the tour route, which is a real workout, that you do at your own speed or take the the tour shuttle. There are tour guides available to explain the areas and sights. The sheep are also an interesting sight. Only...More

I'm almost hesitant to sing the praises of Slieve League, simply because part of what makes it so incredible is how sparse the crowds can be (especially compared to Cliffs of Moher, etc). It was absolutely stunning and, on our first visit, there was literally...More

No. There is no regulated gate or entry. But leave enough time to experience the Cliffs. As there is no safety railing, or paved path up, leave plenty of daylight.

The drive up to the second car park is narrow in parts, but not difficult. We didn't go on the boat tour, so don't know if it is worth it. The best time of day is probably in the afternoon - it will be busier, but the sun... More
