We stopped at Mamaku Blue to sample the blueberries. After sampling the jelly and jam we opted to share a blueberry pancake and the tea. The pancakes were delicious and served with cream. We also purchased Blueberry and gooseberry health powder for smoothies and breakfast. Thoroughly impressed with the array of products to buy.

After travelling on the RailCruise, like most passengers we drove a little further along the road and visited Mamaku Blue. A great array of products made from blueberries, gooseberries and feijoas. While the wine wasn't quite to my liking, the liqueurs were really nice and I bought four bottles and some blueberry chilli chutney. Very tasty indeed. I am looking... More

We happened to spot a leaflet for this place at the Railcruising in Mamaku and went to check it out, a lovely hidden gem. It was remarkably busy for being so out of the way but worth a visit.
