Well worth a trip, amazing views all around. Free entry, short walk from village centre, great picnic spot. Would have liked more information boards but read up online that this used to be the capital of Kefalonia before Argostoli.
The remains of the castle are good for a walk around, it doesn't take long and there is not too much walking involved. The best bit is the view over Argostoli which is stunning on a lovely sunny day.

A bit off the beaten path, but well worth the diversion. Aside from wondering how this structure was built, it's great to see that the venue is still used for concerts. And the views are pretty spectacular.
