Nice square

This is the main square and it is picturesque in a way you'd expect for a scandinavian town. Easy to find find in the centre of the old town.

Maybe it's because the weather wasn't great and there was absolutely no one there, but it was nothing special. The Lilla Torg is right next to it and has at least some traditional beautiful builings to show.

Stortorget is the main square in Central Malmö with the Town Hall being one of the most significant buildings in the square. It is the largest public square in the city and was built in 1536 and at the time was the largest in Northern Europe. In the centre of Stortorget is the equestrian statue of King Karl X Gustav.... Besides being the main square, and housing the beautiful Town Hall building, it is a nice place to eat and do some shopping (including souvenirs). If you are lucky, the old pharmacy (on the opposite corner) might even be open, so make sure to visit it!

I love such city square type places in European cities. This doesn't disappoint . Very nicely surrounded by nice buildings. Only thing missing for me , is some Christmas market to be on this square .

Stortorget (the Great Square) is the start of the pedestrian street that takes you thru the city center. Lots of shopps, restaurants, cozy little places to stop for a coffie and a sweet, you can sit indoors or outdoors. The pedestrian street end by Triangeln shoppingcenter, were you'll find even more shops, restaurants and coffieplaces. You have the Metro stop... More

What to expect of a square in Malmö in mid November? Nothing special. Nothing special is what I got, and I don't understand how this is listed as a sight.

Malmo has a number of open spaces and this is another one of them. Fairly attractive although nothing out of the ordinary.

Nice Central Spacious Square. Nice to walk around. There's not much here though to be honest. Nice to walk though once you get off the train
