We mainly went for one of the temporary exhibitions and had very low expectations for the rest of the museum. But the first impression was that the building, and some of the surrounding buildings, is worth a trip in itself. Then once we had seen our exhibition we went and saw the rest of the museum and it was both... More

Easy to find and there is car parking place not free, but the museum can be visited without entrance fee. We started in the restaurant, the lax was nice and tasty. The most interesting part was the Fossils and Evolution exhibition.

The building is impressive and it holds a huge natural history collection. The dinosaurs exhibition is small but well done and popular with younger kids. The Swedish nature exhibition is great too, although others look abit dated. The artic wing was closed for renovation

I didn't had time to go inside. I could only see this from outside. You can get to this place by Tram, Hop n Hop off bus or public buses. Tram will be best option, as it will drop you to the nearest. This is near VASA Museum.

We spent a wet afternoon here with two young children and there was plenty to keep everyone interested! The museum is very well set out with many interesting exhibits. I think we could have spent a few mor hours there!

The museum gives you a display of different animals and plants living in the Scandinavian area, as well as other parts of the World. However, the displays were at times a bit boring and dusty, very traditional. Nothing compared to the wonderful museum of Natural History in Washington D.C. (The Smithsonian). We watched a short film in their Cosmonova theater.... More

Forgot the Introductory English tour which... More

I found the museum to be really entertaining and instructive. I really loved that there are lots of games for children to learn about nature. I also found really interesting the sector dedicated to the Swedish fauna.
