Enjoyed a walk through wonderful cobblestone, hilly streets to this spot where you get rewarded with a beautiful view of Stockholm.

I visited this place in Stockholm in the morning before leaving. The view is so beautiful because you can see so many sights of Stockholm. Early morning, when the sun rises, the view is especially beautiful.

From Monteliusvagen, you get a magnificent view of Stockholm City and the Old Town. In the summer you can enjoy beautiful sunsets from there. Behind you, on Sodermalm, and in particular around Mariatorget, you find numerous cafes, bars and restaurants!

This overlook is a fabulous place to visit in Stockholm. There is a spectacular view of old town, city hall, and a panoramic view of the entire city from above. Sunset pictures are to die for!

When you are looking for a good spot to have a look at Gamla Stan, this is the place to go on the Sodarmalm island.

Nice views back to the city from the high spots on Sodermalm. Use the Maria Hidden (elevator) if you want to hold climbing the hilly streets. We loved the chance to stretch our legs and walk off some of the calories from the good food.

Frommer's favorite panorama spot. Few benches around to sit and enjoy the view. Breathtaking and stunning scenery if you go during sunset. It's often really colourful in Stockholm. Gamla Stan is visible from the great perspective. Definitely worth to go.

This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a
postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its
center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase
neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential
area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes
to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with
sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars.
Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park

Hi, no, you can't! To be honest, unless you have a bigger reason for that, its not necessary. Its 2 streets away from one main avenue -Hornsgatan- (5min walk). The point is that that part of the city is already a hill, so... More
