Very cozy spot, having its spirit, my favourit place in Stockholm. Amazing sunsets, cafes near by offering coffee take-away and whole panoramic view over Gamla Stan and City Hall. Take some coffee, bring a friend, spend nice afternoon there.

Easy and cheap way to get a great view over Stockholm across the water. As others will have mentioned, it is especially impressive around sunset. A few benches make it even more convenient.

Views are great, definite thing to do while in Stockholm but the viewing platform is along a path with buildings behind, not just a large hill in the middle of the city.

A wonderful walk, overlooking Stockholm with lots of places on the way to sit and take in the views. Reminds you of the geography of the City and the plants and birds that live here.

This beats the sky view and it's free and within city center. The exceptional views on this trailway are complemented by other small gems the neighborhood has to offer.

The first walk I did upon arriving in Stockholm was to walk from Slussen heading west towards cobbled Bastugatan (lovely C18 houses) then right into Blecktormsgrand to see some beautiful views of City Hall, Gamla Stan and Riddarholmen. The narrow path of Monteliusvagen heads further west...More

Lovely place to take a hike and most beautiful pictures of Gamla Stan and Riddarsholmen. Visit Sodermalm for Monteliusvagen. It's worth climbing the stairs..

In a city that offers one stunning view after another, Monteliusvagen really stood out for the expanse of the view and for its serenity. The walk to get there and along the path back is also very lovely. Also, there are plenty of benches if...More

The walk to Monteliusvagen will take you through some older sections of Stockholm which is a treat also. Once you arrive you get a great view overlooking Stockholm. Benchs to rest because you will be walking uphill there.

This rather quiet neighborhood revolves around a
postcard-like park with a dramatic fountain in its
center and is definitely one of Stockholm’s showcase
neighborhoods. Mariatorget, a central residential
area, is the best Stockholm has to offer when it comes
to juxtaposing architectural masterpieces with
sophisticated art galleries, coffee shops and bars.
Stockholmers love to spend their weekends in the park

Hi, no, you can't! To be honest, unless you have a bigger reason for that, its not necessary. Its 2 streets away from one main avenue -Hornsgatan- (5min walk). The point is that that part of the city is already a hill, so... More
