This statue is really small. I think that is supposed to be the appeal. I don’t get it. It’s. It that it’s bad. I just didn’t get the point. People do leave money by it.

This very small sculpture is a bit hard to find, but if you look for the Finnish church close to the castle, you will find it in their yard. If possible go there when it is dark. Then a spotlight will shine on the boy...More

I always enjoy finding/seeking out little known locations and Jarnpojken is one of them! So tiny you could miss it! Leave a coin and make a wish.

Hard to spot unless you are with a guide. Very minute but cute statue. While there it was quite warm so the hat was not on its head. As you can see, many people touch the statue for good luck as it's head is a...More

Also called "Boy looking at the moon", the statue is only 15 cm tall. It is claimed to have magic powers and brings good luck if you pat the boy's head and leave some money. The sculpture can be found just outside the Royal Palace,...More

Took a while to find it, I walked straight past it once. It's nice to have a look at it. The statue had a cute little cap.

If you are able to find this statue, congrats! It is tucked away in a little courtyard off of the beaten path. Our tour guide took us here and told us the story of the square as well as the statue. It is honestly the...More

Järnpojke in English means "little boy who looks at the moon". It is a sculpture that is about 6" high and is hard to find unless you have directions or a guide. Visitors often leave coins which are collected by the nearby Finnish church, and...More

During our free walking tour of the old town, our guide Connie showed us many interesting sites/sights. To many this quirky little guy standing at 15 centimetres, would not be a stand alone attraction. However, there were about 20 of us, taking photos and patting...More

This is the smallest sculpture in Stockholm. It is located in the Old Town and really very small, look out so you find him. In the winter people dress him in a cap to protect him from the snow and cold winds.

Gamla Stan & Riddarholmen
Gamla Stan is Stockholm’s historic old town and home
to the Swedish Royal Palace. It’s the most central
island of Stockholm and accompanied by the small
island of Riddarholmen, mainly known for its famous
Riddarholm Church. Gamla Stan tends to be a bit
touristy at times but is definitely worth visiting:
take a stroll past the well-preserved buildings and
through the small (and also Sweden’s narrowest)
