House of Amber Stockholm takes you on a journey 30-50 million years back in time to admire the history of our Nordic Gold - amber. Amber's ability to preserve insects and plants, which became trapped in the resin 30-50 million years ago is a unique window to a bygone era. At the exhibition you will see the unique character of amber where irregularities such as insects, wood and air bubbles make the amber pieces even more rare and valuable. Since ancient times, amber has been cherished for its beauty and exclusivity. Amber has a special aura that is said to bring happiness, health and prosperity. In the associated exhibition shop you will find amber jewellery in an exceptional spectrum of colors and shades combined with silver, gold and diamonds. House of Amber Stockholm warmly welcomes you into the captivating universe of amber!
