We chose this tour from our Princess Cruise. So much to do ... I was able to ride one of the horses (unassisted), go for a ride on the cow hide whilst being towed by a horse - was laughing so much I almost slid off on a tight corner :) Also milked a cow to get some milk in... More

The great joy of this is that the number of visitors per year is very limited - we were 14 only in our group which takes away the stress of being surrounded by too many people. The estancia is huge and very beautiful. After arrival we were loaded onto a hay cart for a grand tour of the estate. This... More

Where to start!! I've worked for a cruise line for 7 months, and I escorted a tour here one day. It was honestly one of the best days I've ever had, from the hosts, to the picture perfect setting, the food and drink. Before I go on I must add, this was all through the cruise line I worked for... On a recent cruise on the Celebrity Infinity, one of the shore excursions when we stopped in Montevideo was a city tour and then lunch at a ranch. The tour was good and informative, and the trip to the ranch proved excellent! La Rabida is a working ranch that only allows tourists from cruise ships during the short cruise ship... More

What a privilege to spend time on this lovely Estancia. We were greeted very warmly. Being from a farming background myself it was interesting to see how people in another part of the world make it work. We were taken around some of the vast estate in carts sitting on straw bales, to experience the land and had a break... More

The weather was perfect, and we taken for a ride on a farm trailer with straw seating around the vast farm, while our lunch was prepared on a huge BBQ. We... More

In contrast to many reviews it was rainy cats and dogs on our day at Rabida. And we mean WET! But the welcome and fun we had was unbelievable. The Matriarch was amazing and other family members and workers were so friendly and hospitable we couldn't fail to have a good time. We stayed mainly in an open sided barn... More

La Rabida was absolutely fabulous! I can't say enough about this visit--it was truly outstanding. The family was incredibly warm and everyone was involved in making the visit as special as possible. We loved the food, the ambiance, the animals, the drinks, and all of the activities. We have two girls who love horses and they had the best time--they... More
